The Big Ten Network could be at Rutgers training camp sooner rather than later.

Though final travel decisions are at least a month a way, per BTN analyst Gerry DiNardo, the network could start its training camp visits along the coast.

"The rumor is we're going to start east and work west," DiNardo said last week when he commented on BTN's new deals with Cablevision and Time Warner Cable. "We usually bus everywhere. The rumor is we're going to fly east and bus west. It's so hard to figure out logistically. It's not just go east and travel west. We're going to have to backtrack some."

That leaves Rutgers or Maryland as logical targets to begin the 14-team training camp schedule.

DiNardo and colleague Howard Griffith visited Rutgers' spring practice, when DiNardo sat down with head coach Kyle Flood for his first interview with the school's new conference network.
