Less than two weeks remain until the start of Rutgers training camp. This top-25 countdown will run infrequently, documenting who's got the most to prove in 2014.

No. 15 — DB Delon Stephenson (5-foot-11, 190 pounds)

Why Stephenson's on the list: First, no one's sure where Stephenson will play.

The late arrival via prep school is part of a battle at free safety with Johnathan Aiken, but troubles at corner could move Stephenson closer to the line of scrimmage.

He flashed in his debut, recording an interception against Temple, but remains green to the game's subtle points.

Look for defensive coordinator Joe Rossi to plug him in wherever (and whenever) needed.

During training camp, keep an eye on: Stephenson's grasp of the defense.

The Sayreville native says playing both positions has increased his knowledge of first-year play caller Rossi's aggressive system. He will be required to make defensive calls to corners on his side of the field.

2014 outlook: Stephenson will be a busy man.

Between special teams, the secondary and an X-factor role on defense, he'll likely find his hands full in Rossi's new vision.

More from the countdown: No. 14 — Anthony Cioffi
No. 16 — Kemoko Turay
