PISCATAWAY — Rutgers AD Julie Hermann met the media Tuesday to discuss the football team's trip to her native Nebraska, where she is also an alumna and volleyball letterwinner.
She is also encouraged by head coach Kyle Flood's 5-2 start.
"I think Kyle and his staff are doing a tremendous job," Hermann said. "Playing Penn State as close as we did was great — two minutes too long. Getting the Michigan win I thought was huge. The first time you walk into a stadium of that size, scale and noise (like Ohio State), that's an adjustment. We've done it now."
