Thanks for returning to the weekly Rutgers mailbag, this time four days removed from a home opener against Howard. A week ago we discussed Dre Boggs as a returner, Rutgers' injury report and more.

You can tweet me @Tyler_Barto or email tbarto@trentonian.com each week with your questions.

Neither are listed on Rutgers' injury report after suffering injuries during training camp, Zach, so in theory they should be candidates for expanded roles this week.

Nadir Barnwell played some corner Thursday, replacing Justin Goodwin. There will likely be a point when Rutgers needs to play more corners, but the season opener showed it is just as likely to add a safety or two and move Delon Stephenson to the line of scrimmage.
Both Andre Patton (upper body) and Ruhann Peele (upper body) are both out this week. It makes sense, with no need to rush them back against an FCS school. After that, it remains unclear — all updates come from Kyle Flood.

Carlton Agudosi, meanwhile, is closer to 100 percent, Flood said, despite not being listed on the injury report. Expect him to play after not registering a snap (by my count) with Rutgers' offense in the season opener.
Probably about as much time as you'd expect, Anup, against a lower-tier school. I won't speculate on how many snaps they'll get, but look for Dorian Miller, JJ Denman and Rutgers' second-team offensive line to play extensively.

Flood is looking to build depth there in case of injury. This is a perfect time to do so.

Don't be surprised if one of Rutgers' freshmen running backs, Robert Martin or Josh Hicks, racks up carries. A third back is needed in this offense.
