PISCATAWAY — Rutgers players met the media on Monday after Saturday's 31-24 victory at Navy to no shortage of storylines.
An inflated injury report, one that included star running back Paul James with a torn ACL. The potential return of receiver Andre Patton. Recalling head coach Kyle Flood's first game as head coach in 2012 against Tulane.
Quarterback Gary Nova and wideout Leonte Carroo touched on several of those subjects inside Rutgers' Hale Center facility.
Listen at the 1:38 mark as Nova replays the significance of that Tulane game, his first as Flood's annointed starter.
And at the 1:40 mark, Carroo says he had made friendly wagers with James about who would score more touchdowns this season.
